T and I-beam profiles provide the heavier members in the standard range: solid T-sections for tracks and rails, and extruded I-beams for beams, gantries and structural frames. Standard sizes run to 150 mm flange width in 6063-T5 and 6061-T6, with web and flange thickness set to the load case and lengths cut to 6 m or to your requirement.
We machine T-slots, bolt holes, end plates and mitered intersections, and supply mill, anodized and powder coated finishes. Extruded I-beams are commonly used for machine bases, crane and hoist rails, conveyor supports, mezzanine framing and trailer crossmembers, where a stiff, light section is preferred over steel and corrosion protection is less of a maintenance issue.
