How Linkedalu Metal Group Co., Ltd collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data you submit through this website, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are
This website is operated by Linkedalu Metal Group Co., Ltd, No. 22, Area A, Phase III of Xiamen Software Park, Jimei District, Xiamen, Fujian 361021, China ("we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Questions can be sent to sales@linkedalu.com.
What we collect
We only collect the data you choose to give us and the minimum technical data needed to serve the site securely:
- Inquiry data — the name, business email address, telephone number, company, country and message you submit through our forms, together with the page you wrote from.
- Technical data — IP address, browser and device information, and request timestamps, recorded in server logs for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics.
- Preference data — a functional cookie storing your light/dark theme choice, and the session cookie used to protect forms against cross-site request forgery.
Why we process it
We process inquiry data to answer your request, prepare quotations and, where a project proceeds, to perform the resulting contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)). Technical data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the website available and secure (Art. 6(1)(f)). Marketing email is only sent with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) and can be withdrawn at any time.
How long we keep it
Inquiries and resulting commercial correspondence are retained for as long as needed to serve you and to meet statutory record-keeping obligations. Server logs are rotated and deleted within 12 months. Cookie preferences stay in your browser until you clear them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers acting on our instructions — our hosting provider, email provider and, where enabled, analytics — and by our own offices in China and Chile when they handle your request. Transfers outside your region are protected by appropriate safeguards, including standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Write to sales@linkedalu.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
This site sets only functional cookies: a session identifier needed to protect forms, and a theme preference. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics, if enabled by the site operator, is configured with IP anonymisation.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords in the administration area are stored with a salted, memory-hard hash. Access to submitted data is restricted to staff who need it to answer your request, and every administrative action is written to an audit log.
Changes
We may update this policy when our processes change. The current version is always published on this page.
