Solar Energy Profiles

Solar energy profiles include mounting rails, mid and end clamps, module frame sections, rail splices, tile hooks and base rails for rooftop and ground-mount photovoltaic arrays. Structural sections such as rails and frames are extruded in 6063-T6 to carry wind and snow loads, with 6061-T6 where higher yield strength is needed, and are dimensioned for standard module thicknesses of 30 mm and 35 mm.

Finishes are mill, clear or black anodizing, and PVDF for harsh sites; anodized rails are commonly specified because the coating does not chip at clamp points. We cut rails to array dimensions, punch clamp slots and drain holes, and can supply pre-assembled rail sections with splices and clamps, keeping site work to bolting rather than drilling.
